Fiend in the Flock

A Bloodshore shepherd claims an unidentified beast (or beasts) has been slaughtering the game dodos to which she tends. However, despite watching over the birds, without rest, for over 36 bells, the young Miqo'te insists she has witnessed nothing enter or exit the herd. From the description of events given, it is highly likely the culprit is none other than a rogue imp―known to use magicks to disguise itself as another animal and thereby infiltrate its pack, where it can feed on the blood of its unsuspecting victims without fear of reprisal. The shepherd will reward anyone who can aid her in finding and eliminating the insidious pest.
