Since Update of 11-25-10 you get 3/99 for a standard synth. Also now 5 earth shards and 2 water shards since update.

Weaver 14 (Crafting 26, Control 17, Mag. Crafting 21) using Iron needle and Guild Clothshop. 7/7 success. Lowest finishing Durability was 10, highest was 58. I was careful to use both Maker's Muse and Tender Touch abilities during each synthesis. Have to admit it got close to a fail a couple of times.

I have issues making this at lvl 17 weaver, with guild clothship access. Glitched game is glitched. its ridiculous. this is HEMP - we should be able to make this at the same levels we would be wearing HEMP. otherwise it's pointless. The durability drops on this are insane - every synth, weather successful or fail, i get a -15 to -20 durability decrease. I'm convinced this is just a square enix glitch from hell.

I've upped the rank to 12, but just wanted to make sure that the people failing know that they need to be using a Guild facility to make this.

Level 10 weaver using Bronze needle and I cannot make this. Multiple fails.

Are you weaver level 10 or physical level 10? That will make a difference

Fix this please - I'm lvl 16 weaver with all craft gears + Iron Needle. I still make 1 of this out of 7 tries!

An iron needle is probably no better or even worse than the lvl 12 needle at lvl 16 - just FYI. Since it is a R22 tool (I believe) there probably isn't any point in using it till at least R19
I know I won't be busting out my iron alembic or iron saw until R19 anyway

This wayyyy too hard to make at lvl 10! I'm lvl 12 and made 1 out of 12 tries with all buffs and new equip :(( Please re-check it!
