Walkthrough

After reaching Rank 36 Botanist, speak to Opyltyl to start this quest. You must have reached a certain point in Fade to White in order to get the quest.

1. Once your Greatloom Growery linkpearl has activated head to the Greatloom Growery and Talk to Opyltyl.
2. Talk to Cicely.
3. In the instance talk to Rychyld.
4. Travel to (17-35) in The Black Shroud as marked on your quest map.
1. There will be some unavoidable aggressive enemies along the way. You should be able to outrun the majority of them but consider setting homepoint at Camp Crimson Bark in case of death.
5. Walk to the center of the clearing into the flowers to trigger a cutscene.
6. In the instance gather one Pearl Clover Seed and talk to Rychyld. The consequences for gathering more than one are unknown.
7. Head back to the Greatloom Growery and talk to Cicely.
8. Talk to Opyltyl about how to plant seeds. He tells you to gather yarzon dung near Humblehearth. Optional: ^[1] Talk to Mestonnaux. He doesn't think you need Yarzon dung.
9. As you near the gather site at (29-31) you will enter an instance. You have 10 minutes to gather enough pellets of yarzon feces. You will be gathering next to sleeping Yarzon.
1. Waking them up seems unavoidable. As long as you keep gathering quickly and only walk slowly they don't seem to attack. If you are attacked, you can either run out of the cut scene to recover before trying again or take them out.
2. Once you have the required number of feces you will be taken out of the instance.
10. Return to the Greatloom Growery and talk to Opyltyl.
11. In the instance activate the door just to the right of Mestonnaux to enter the garden.
12. Talk to Cicely.
13. Exit through the same door to end the instance.
14. Talk to Opyltyl
15. Talk to Cicely.
16. Head over to (25-30) near Humblehearth to trigger a cut scene.
17. Return to the Greatloom Growery and talk to Cicely for your reward.
