To parallel the level 1 twink thread, I was wondering what many consider to be must do quests at early levels. I have two I always do after the tutorial, but are available from level 1.

https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=5977

And

https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=5706

If you are not already in a guild, then you can do the quest with the npc outside of the Guild Lobby to become a member of Novices of <insert server name here>.

One gives a weight reduction bag and the other an aug. The aug quest can be repeated each 10 levels (10, 20, 30 etc.). The augs are not lore, so if you're aug poor, they are nice.

Nice idea. I haven't thought about 1st level doable quests other than the tutorial quests, newbie armor quests, and twinkable stuff, that required higher level help, since the Newbie armor quests came out. Well some twinkable exp ones too, like Crushbone belts can rack the levels up really quick, especially when leveling was slow back in the day.

Anyway, very nice thread. And sorry, I don't really have any good ideas. Old EQ2, I had some good after tutorial must do quest lists for Qeynos and Freeport, like your two, to get bags, and money, and a few other minor things (housing items).

Once you hit 75, they are repeatable every 5 levels.

Another quest you can do at level 1, it has a couple sub quests but its mainly just a bunch of running around, just bring invis potions with you.

Featherweight Satchel of the Curier 20 slot 100% WR bag and a Title.

I've done that one on my main, but a lot of my other chars are of the evil persuasion. Has anyone done this with a Dark Elf or an Iksar?

You've already mentioned the newbie armor quests, but before it became part of the achievement cycle for Crescent Reach, I liked to take a shortcut and skip right to Love in the Air #4: Charmed, I'm Sure https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=3657. You don't have to do the first three parts to complete this one and get the reward: a newbie neck armor piece. If you want to get the reward for the related achievement, you'll eventually have to do the other three parts, but if you just want something better than stitched burlap for your first foray into the world, you can get this item right out of the gate.

https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=3657 is the link, no brackets.

I also generally do Oh Brother!—https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=3678 and Reakash's Revenge—https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=3679 in Crescent Reach before setting foot in the tutorial. You get a nice Waist and Face item, respectively.

You need to do the Tutorial to get that charm... its 5 to all stats and 10 hp/mana iirc.
