Difficult logging in lately?Follow
Last two days have had a hard time logging on? Seems to come up with a black screen and then after a long time come up with log error and screen to enter password. When password entered goes to "Logging in to server please wait then "Error-A timeout occurred" with an OK tab to hit. This time Sever select came up with just a blank screen after a minute the servers came up and another error. With modern times, high band width and a 2k computer...it should not take over 10min to log on.....Thanks Daybreak....any suggestion or is anyone else have same difficulties?

I just noticed this morning an account I had left at the log-in screen got disconnected which usually doesn't happen unless they patched. Haven't seen your level of access problem, though.
Since you posted your question HERE twice it MIGHT be YOUR Internet connection.

I got the error thing and then when I got to the server-select screen it was blank for about 90 seconds also. Once past that I logged in normally.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I saw an issue a week ago or so, where at the login screen, it ran the patcher, but never changed the button to "login". I had to exit out and restart. Not a big deal, but it was an odd occurrence.

bigger problem but may be related. GMs may be so busy fixing current problems they don't have time to get to my 4 day request to recover my account. While waiting decided to try to create a free-to-play account buy was told it could take 12 hours to download eq before I could start building a toon. Only took 7 minutes to make a backup copy of my everquest directory on my hard drive. Please redirect me to a more appropriate forum discussion if there is one.

These forums are okay for anything re EQ.
But to get a faster resolution from Daybreak's EQ TSR's or other ides from posters. Best to also post your issue in Daybreaks Everquest forums site / Support Forums / Player support section.
