Recently acquired https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=106354 Trophy of the Landing. This is the first one I've gotten. Can't seem to find much info on trophies and their usage. My questions are, do they grant the bonus automatically?, Do you need to have it in inventory? It says placeable in guild hall on the alla description but not the item, and finally... Grants you access to trophy of the landing...not sure what that means. Any info would be much appreciated on this and trophy useage in general.

I haven't done one of those; however, I know that the Trophy of Alchemy gets better the more you use it.

I'm saying they may be similar in that they improve during use.

You must place them in a house and can be used like tribute.

Used like tribute, but I don't think they use up tribute points, do they?

aye they do - I use the helm of rallos zek and some other trophy that grants AC....think you can only use 2 "personal" trophies at a time.

Most all trophies will give some kind of usable buff. All the HoT ones are designed for personal abilities. Set them up in your house then you can keep them upgraded and power them with tribute as you normally would. HoT expansion will give you one after each area is cleared for merc, partisan and mission tasks. IIRC you also will get a guild trophy from there, will have to check it out. But the trophies as in TS are very well worth it.

are allowed 5 personal trophies at one time so if u can 8 of them just hafto go down n see which ones will grant you the best out of all of them. And make sure nothing rots, armor, weapons that are no trade, no drop. Even some raid pieces trib out and most HH drops do nice lil trib values

OK, didn't know that. I only have the TS trophies, and they don't use trib points, but then again, they don't add any game stats, either.

Wow I'm not sure myself how you use these achievement trophies. I just placed Trophy of the Seafarer in my house and when I visit the Tribute Master in my home town I don't see any evidence of this benefit being available to me.

What am I missing here?

There's a separate UI window for house trophies (under the housing UI, I think. It's been a few months).

I thought that tradeskill trophies that were fully evolved were supposed to give you their benefits when you put them in your house and selected them for the tribute. But they don't show an increase in skill at the tradeskill containers. Anyone know anything about that?

They do show an increase in the skill at the tradeskill container for me. If you don't see the increase in skill, then the trophy is not active. You can't just place it, you also have to turn it on in the real-estate/tribute/whatever window it's called.

Tat

PS - they don't have to be fully evolved, either, to work this way. However, the trophy has to be equipped on your char in order to evolve, so it's a feature you would never use :)

It is fully evolved, I placed it, and I turned it on. No increase in skill level for me :(
Guess I have to go put them all back in my bank to pull out when I use them.
