Question about achievements :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

disclaimer: I've basically lived on progression servers or been away on a break since the achievement system was put in.

Questions:

1. are their achievements for doing a quantity of quests? Like 5 done, 10 done, and so on?

2. If yes to #1, is it any quests or specific quests.

3. If yes to #1, is there an XP (regular or AA) reward for the questing achievement? Or something else?

TSS sort of does this in that if you complete a string of relevant quests you get a payoff for getting them all done. Outside of that, (sheer number of quests done) I don't know and have not heard of such.

Well if you complete an entire xpac set there are nice "prizes" such as really big bags and other perks. They're motivating fer sure... I was driven to get the t-rex illusion clicky for my whole box team. Lotta work, tho...

In later expansions, when you complete a set of quests that are contained in either category "Mercenary or Partisan" you get a substantial experience hit.

Basically sounds like they are doing in newer content what I would like to see them put back onto older content in some form.

I've always thought they should dramatically increase rewards for completing long complex quests, especially those that don't involve solely endless killing of mobs. Kinda like the tradeskill quests. It is called EverQUEST, after all.
