MND and INTFollow

What exactly does MND andINT do? I've been told conflicting information about these two - that only casters should worry about them, that INT is damage from spells and MND is effectivness of cure and resistance to spells, and that both are important to casters and no caters alike because both are resiatance to spells.

So which is it? Come to think of it, is there a guide somwhere on exactly what all the stats do and how they are calculated?
