Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

Only 1 of the image's is from the art book, the other 3 are not, to my knowledge. As well the artwork from the CE book, i believe was intended for the first expansion of the game. Which in this case will be FFXIV v2.0, instead of [insert expansion name here]. And really only reason this ripple is making wave's is that people are starved for 2.0 info.

This one isn't in the CE book, though. I think it's Bahamut?

They should have made a picture that looked obviously obscene and covered the suspicious bits with those purple blocks. That way, even as people answered questions, they would be uncomfortable while doing so, uncertain as to whether they should be encouraging Yoshida's sick (final) fantasies.
