LOL! Sir! I think it funny that there is a tiny part of me that's ok with that system. We're all into digital S&M/BDSM in some way Smiley: sly

I leveled smn to 75. The only times I ever soloed were when I would solo Snolls. Seeking for 3 days on smn with the comment of "All Avatars + YYR" was the name of the game then. Getting to level 95 was super easy because no one cared what job you were in abyssea. You could be taru melee whm and they would gladly accept you. Although getting all of my jobs to 95 in two months was highly disappointing.

Thanks for all the info guys, really appreciate it. I will sign up for the beta and try it out myself now. :)

EDIT: Completely forgot to ask the all important question. What server should a primarily US prime time player join if he wanted to find the most action around that time.

We're not quite sure yet, but if you check the sticky thread started by catwho, you can post where you want to be and we might try to get groups together there.

I made a decision, a few years ago, because of money wasted on games, that i wouldn't buy a game unless i could test it before, on a beta or trial.

That's my advice, try it before buying it !

If it is at least decent to good quality I will be playing it for a while. With the way today's games are I keep getting disappointed when I spend $60 bucks on a game. Rarely do they have any replay value and I never feel like I got my money's worth. Borderlands 2 was pretty much the only game in the last few years that I felt was worth it, and sadly I rented it. Plus with all this DLC crap now-a-days I would just as soon pay $15 a month and be done with it.

Ahh, Borderlands 2... the game Diablo 3 should have been... minus the guns.

I loved BL2. My friends and I got the game at the same time and bought the DL content season pass, then never played any of the DLC...

It seemed like most of the DLC was pretty lame anyway.. And that's sad since the DLC pretty much ruined the ending. "Yay we beat Handsome Jack and the lava monster but it's not over yet! DLC is coming, YAAAAAY~~!!!!!1" And now after reading on this forum and seeing that XIII-2 and Mass Effect 3 (didn't play any of them so I'm not sure) did the same thing I'm starting to see a trend of "Pay us more money to get the ending later on". Even more of a reason to play FFXIV I suppose.
