I expect anything that would let you skip levels would be disabled for Phase 3 on. The roadmap says character data is deleted between phase 3 and 4, does anyone have a link to where it's said they will be allowing data transfer?

There was this caveat with the phase 4 to launch data transfer as well:

The only way they should even consider beta testing end game in beta, is if they have so much of it, that what we would experiance is a drop in an ocean, but considering that will not be the case, why make us get bored of what few end game content we will have 3 months before official release.....

Yep, completely agree. On a related note, I always find it odd that people rush to test the new endgame content on PTS of games. I mean, I understand getting a headstart on the competition and all, but I'd much rather wait until release and enjoy endgame on my actual character. If I played endgame content on the PTS, I'd just burn myself out that much faster once it goes live. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me...

You're not a hardcore progression raider.

In progression-focused groups, anything that aids progression is required. The serious ones will insist on PTR testing because it gives them an early shot at encounters they'll have to progress through later. This dramatically cuts down the time it takes them to clear that content and move on to hard modes.

World first competitors take that even more seriously.

Honestly, if you don't fall into one of those categories, then you don't need to worry about testing new content like that. Just get to it when you get to it and learn it as you go. No problem.

I thought it said that character data was supposed to be wiped after all phases but they didn't however it will still be wiped before phase 3 starts, which is also when 1.0 data will be moved over and more areas will be opened up. All that should be happening in phase 3, right?

Dammit, I can't say anything Smiley: lol

Let's just say SE is not obligated to follow their own roadmap.
