Beta Key regional Issue :(Follow

"The code's region is inaplicable"

Not exactly sure what that means.. However I have been in the same exact region ever since FFVIV was released the first time!
I want to play my Beta!!! It's impossible to get anywhere on the SE support areas!

If you are on PS3, make an account for the region where the code is valid, then download the client, switch to your actual PSN account, and install.

I intend on doing that tonight.

How can I be sure of what region the code is actually from?

Thank you for the reply as well!

Hmmm, not sure if it works for PC but one would assume it would. There's three regions, JP, EU and NA. I am not sure if there is a way to identify what region a code comes from. Where did you sign up for the beta? That might give you a hint as to what region. You'd then need a SE account for said region. Then register the account, download, win internets et cetera.

When you sign up for the beta you choose a different region. So now just make an account from that region and use the code. It will work. Just try to remember the region.

I was sent the BETA invite on the 13th... I was busy so today is the first day I was able to play.. I signed up for PS3 and PC and it says not applicable for the PC version, and the PS3 version I just tried says it's either a wrong code or it may no longer be valid.. Was there an expiration date on on my key after 24 hours I wonder? Bah, sucks all the same!

I found my issue... I stupidly selected United Kingdom instead of the United States in the Beta sign up. So I remade another account through SE and selected UK as my country and it worked.

Is Beta progress kept or deleted?
Will this character be the one I have to use for the early week's release or can I go back to my real account for that? Ugh..

Sweet! Glad to help!

Now tonight I just have to use the work-around for Canada and I can see what the fuss is about.

So Phase 4 is that the same as early access (one week) or is it something prior to early access?
