Does anyone know how to change the payment informaiton for a Pre-Order? Credit Card has been lost and replaced with a new number, need to change it so the payment gets approved and pre-order is shipped.

No idea where you pre-ordered from but I assume there's somewhere there for you to update payment details? If the money isn't coming out until release then you might be safe but maybe give customer services a call.
I ordered directly from SE. I have opened my order through their website but I am unable to see any options to edit/change payment type.

Changing payment type won't be in the order section. I imagine it's in account details instead.
I remember trying to change my shipping address and it wouldn't let me. I had to put in a new order entirely and cancel the first. Are you sure it didn't already charge you? I ordered through S-E and it charged me right away.

They charged me immediately after pre-order.
I have received response from the SE Support stating they will contact me in 24 - 48 hours. Also checked my statements and I did not see any charges from them. So I do not believe I have been charged yet.

Oh man I was not charged when I ordered my ce. Now I'm worried
Edit: I checked my confirmation email and stuff and everything looks fine to me. I could even track it. Let me know what they tell you.

He was rather rude for the first part of the conversation, and used his little auto responses faster than I could type out my questions, but I would try talking to Digital River. Which good luck with that, ever since they moved overseas its been a pain in the butt.

Called Digital River using the number listed above and they stated they do not have the ability to change the payment information. However when i was done talking they said thank you for calling Square Enix.

I dealt with DR when I pre ordered SoA for FFxi. The way they work is when ordering from them they will do a authorization on your payment method for the purchase price. You will not be charged at this time. The authorization will fall off, when the order is filled they will then charge you for the purchase. Not knowing this ahead of time I ended up ordering the expansion twice (seeing the charges drop and no email on whats going on). They refunded one of them rather quickly though. Heres my end dealing with DR when I did a custom build, so beware and make a backup copy.

I decided to just order a standard PS3 addition from Amazon and will hope that the PS3 can do the digital upgrade once it is released.
