Anyone else see this on Amazon as well? Or is it just me?Yep, I got that too. Wow, that's some pretty awesome advertising for the game. It's the main thing that comes up for the gaming tab. That should certainly help sell some copies.

just a heads up, the standard PS3 version through Amazon says you get a $10 Amazon.com credit. I ordered a copy but not sure where this credit shows up at haha.
Aw man! I pre-ordered a few days too early. I could have gotten a $5 credit had I waited a few more days.
Edit: hmmm, now I see in the details that the code for the $5 credit will get emailed out within 2 days after the release date. Maybe I'll still get the credit.

I plan on pre-ordering that and then using the credit to pre-order either the remastered FFX or Kingdom Hearts.

I recall Yoshi-P saying that they were releasing TV commercials. In fact, IIRC they are supposed to be "live action" commercials, and they had some stills of the characters in them in a LFTP or Dev Blog at some point.
Nope, but I have seen a lot of advertising on YouTube.
TV commercials are running here in Sweden ^^ pretty awesome :D

aww i havent seen any of them in the US
TV advertising is pretty expensive in big markets.
If they do it, I'd expect them to pay within August to do it, when people will remember 'game is out on the 27th" and not scold it off like "out sometime in the future, let's forget about it".
By the way, I like this Amazon ad

Can you believe there are less than 30 days until the release of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn!?
Project Manager M has been visiting local game stores and snapping a few shots of the cool advertisements that are being put up!
Bic Camera has a cool elevator skin!
Yodoboshi Camera has some amazing escalator artwork!
The clock is ticking… August 27th will be here before you know it!
I should probably get back to the forums…

that seems like a small snippet of the Live action commercial they ahve planning. The pictures they showed had alot more characters than just 2 people on a buss/train.

Once you pre-order you are eligible for all pre-order prices and promotions, automatically. If they bump it to $10 and drop the price $3.00 you will automatically get that deal too. You can always ask to make sure too.

You should get the credit on August 27th, 2013. As far as Amazon is concerned, at the moment you haven't bought the item yet, once it is released it should be processed immediately.
