Then why is he still here? From what I recall, we were dealing with "the Sky is falling" posts when nothing was going on, but I feel like the circumstances have changed...

Rip was a common term used to describe the action of copying information from a CD onto a hard-drive.

I can see how the word can be used here.

Except for the fact that it is a moot concern in my opinion about the similarity between the two games, as it appeals to the people that want FFXI 2.0 and the people who want a new game.
