Here is mine... Duo Boxing set up.... ready to roll....

I smiled when I saw the cardboard boxes. :)

But do you really game on your laptop in that position? That can't be good for your spine. =/

Because I like being naked! :)

I don't use a computer case. I use what is called a test bench. Obviously it's not used by most people. It's generally used by people who review computer hardware since it's a lot easier to work with when you need to fiddle with your hardware a lot.

Btw, I also have a bottle of whiskey sitting -very- close by. ;)

I like the ambience and the cozy feel to it. But with all those little objects, how do you take care of dust build up?

Oddly enough I don't get that much dust in here, and I have a cat and 3 dogs. I've actually been thinking about taking down the Lego stuff and finding another spot for it. It's nice decoration, but I find myself lacking space for more functional things.

Here's my little hole in the wall set up. Kinda doubles as a tinkering area, since I don't have a garage for projects.

You either have 3 really nice dogs or 1 really badass cat.

Nice and sturdy, I like it. I need to redo the desktop on mine, they're actually compressed lumber doors (fire rated so heavy as hell), and some water leaked in a crack between where two meet and is causing it to separate. I'm pretty careful with coasters but apparently not careful enough. Next desktop I make will be solid hardwood so $$$ Smiley: frown

Heh! Thanks. The stay puft guy used to be a magnet, but the magnet seperated from the picture so I just glued if on and hoped nobody would notice ^_^

If you like sturdy and don't mind SUPER heavy, I had a cousin do an interesting setup for counter tops that I have considered for a desk. He built a would frame with with a smooth piece on the bottom and cemented it. When he flipped it after it hardened and pulled off the frame. He had a really good looking, sturdy surface.

I'm considering going with a melamine surface, if I can find it in a pattern I like. My father in law make custom countertops, I'm hoping he can find me something cheap. These doors are nice but the wood grain is too rough for writing on, which is another complaint I have with them. They were free though Smiley: thumbsup

I also have an XBOX360 controller I'll be trying out in Phase 4 Beta, but it's currently in the living room hooked up to my new Raspberry Pi until I can get some cheapo USB SNES controllers.

Edit: ACK! Sorry for the poor quality, I really should upgrade my phone soon...

I like your station the most so far. The dual screen setup is awesome. Awesome enough that I want to do it. But that costs money...

Well, that's neat! I could never pull that off. My nieces or something would probably be like "WHAT'S THIS" *ELECTRICAL GENERATION VIA SOCKCARPET* *POKE* *ZAP*. Also, dust.... I should mention I have a shag rug in this room.

I need a better desk. I been using that setup for forever, and I told my self it was temporary.

Connecticut doesn't know how to do apartments, only the west coast does. I'd kill for central air and washer/dryer hook ups. If I ever become a mega millionaire, I'm building an apartment complex, and it's going to have all the amenities you'd usually get somewhere like Las Vegas.

Here in northwest Arkansas most apartments come with central air and washer/dryer. Of course some of the older ones don't.

Ya, I'm pretty sure you could have watched the moon landing from my apartment, 44 years ago.

They don't know what air conditioners are in Wyoming either. I had to buy one of those portable ones that run the tube out the window because the people who built my house apparantly thought that I wouldn't need a window unit or central A/C and gave me a furnace and windows that all slide horizontally Smiley: oyvey
