All this talk of Phase 4 and codes has gotten me worried. I was in P3, I have not received any emails regarding anything P4..
I..I am still going to be allowed in right? I didnt even get anything regarding a new code for P4 reg that people were doing before the month started, I think because I was graciously given a code for P3 by a ZAM member.
Am I boned out of the P4 extra days?

I have been in beta since p1 and i didnt get a code for p4 I believe you dont need a new code.
You'll need a new code to get in. They are being mailed out in groups. Since I have a hotmail and gmail account, I hope it doesn't trip it up.
The good news is that our SE accounts do have FFXIV as an Active Service Account, which shows Code Registration currently unavailable.

Hope you dont mind be asking but whats your source? Registration dosent open till the 17th so people who have been in past betas can get in the 16th thus not needing a new code
I don't think people who have already registered for Beta need new codes. If you've played in Beta at any point, you should be able to log in with your account info and play on the 16th.

Along with the code, was a notification that I needed to register it by 7/27 to gain access to P4. I had two emails, the first giving me a code, the second telling me I hadn't registered it yet, and to hurry up and do it by 7/27.
So as I understand it now, anyone who did not register the new beta P4 codes by 7/27 will need to wait until the registration site reopens at the beginning of P4. We should then be able to get the new code and log in by 8/17, a day after P4 begins.
Not the end of the world, losing rougly half a day of the Open Beta, but I was a bit off-put by S-E still sending information to outdated email addresses.

I really wish S-E would have sent "chill out" emails to those of us who've been in the beta so far. The people who have signed up for PS3 beta but haven't been in the first three phases have all received emails to sit tight and wait for their codes. If you're not part of that group of testers on the PS3, you will not receive an email. Except the email with your PS Store redemption code, if you're on the PS3. If not, just take it easy.

This is the email I received on Jul 27. I played Phase 3 and they claim I just need to sit back and wait.
A bunch of people have received that email on the 27th. One of my alternate emails that didn't receive a phase 3 code received that same email. I haven't gotten anything on my main account.

That's plain wrong. If you were part of any beta phase for PC, you're in phase 4.

That's plain wrong. If you were part of any beta phase for PC, you're in phase 4.
She means the PS3 users will need a new promotion code to download the launcher from the PS Store. See the email that Shadowedge quoted.

This was the email I rec'd on 7/27.
Please note this is for PC version, I do not own a PS3, nor did I sign up for the PS3 beta.
Again, I was a P3 participant, and from the circumstances it appears everyone needs new access codes, whether you were in Beta previously or not.
I'm hoping someone corrects me and I still have access beginning the 16th, but I'm not so sure anymore.
Edit: Perhaps I signed up for another beta code without remembering?

No matter what, you won't be left out. Worst-case scenario, you will be logging in on the 17th.
I vote we start a new thread when the codes start to come in.
I've been in since Alpha and never got that email. I was transferred from one beta phase to the next. Once you are in beta you're in beta.
