Any idea what time the servers will actually go live?Follow
Need to start counting down the hours, lol.

4am Central, 5am Eastern, 2am Pacific..

If for any reason the servers are not up and running on time, that is because you are participating in an MMO launch.
Actually a beta, but that doesn't really matter does it? We are entitled to our Phase 4 time, right? (Not right.) The best thing to do in the event that things do not go smoothly is to run to the official beta forum and complain. (This is also not true.) Really, really it's going to be OK sooner or later.
Also, just in case people are forgetting, Phase 4 progress may still be deleted before launch (as has been stated in every official announcement dating back to Alpha.) This is NOT the weekend to be rearranging your life to get extra playtime in. That's next weekend of course (not really).
Please be aware that every MMO launch I've ever seen has resulted in a half-day patch less than a day or two after it starts. I predict that any necessary patch during our Early Access/P4 playtime is going to be met with RAGE.
I know, if the game wasn't so awesome, we wouldn't get so upset.

People will still be screaming, so just brace yourself for that kind of thing both here and on the official forums. If you go into tomorrow morning thinking that your odds are about 20% as far as logging in right at the launch time you have the right attitude.

Hehe, great post Gnu. I'm planning to be up a little after 5 am to play, but that's more because I feel like that's my best odds at actually getting in some play time before the servers get bogged down and start crashing and require a restart. Certainly I'll be bummed if there's extended downtime tomorrow, but as you said, it's an open beta of an mmo launch. Not everything is going to go smoothly. It's ok to be frustrated about not getting to play, but it's not ok to start ******** at SE about how awful they are. Now then, let's just all hope for the best, and hopefully I'll see you all in game tomorrow so we can start building the best damn linkshell of all time.

I won't be getting to play until Saturday anywho. I'm pumped though. 3 days to get my bearings, then 3 more days during early access to get a head start. Gonna be a lot of fun.

It's your call, but I suggest agaianst that. You are going to want that vacation time to play after everything is running smoothly.

I'm getting up early to try to log in at the alleged start time of 4am. If it isn't working (won't be surprised since I've done beta and launch for a few major MMORPGs), I'll just go back to bed for a while because I'll be sleepy anyway.

Small break in between. Phase 4 ends Monday morning (19th). Early access starts on the 24th
