When showing the beginning movie sequence, the top half of my screen is completely black. Is anyone else having this problem? My graphics card is an EVGA Geforce GTX 650 Ti. wondering if that has something to do with it? Appreciate any input.

Same issue. EVGA card as well (exact model slips my mind atm). Resolution was set to full screen 1920×1080.

Yeah I had it in P3 beta with a Radeon 5770 and still had it happen this morning with a GTX 580.. It might have something to do with running a 2 monitor setup, maybe?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I tried again and just played through the move, after that, the game worked fine.

Good to hear it's fixed for you. I'm surprised the game does not open in Full Screen by default.

Anyone who has not played yet may consider swapping out the resolution back-and-forth in the Setting before running the game.

No, it opens in full screen(or in your windowed resolution), the video is just chopped down the middle (horizontally). The top half of the screen is black, and you can move the mouse over (inside of) it. It's not like it chops the window, just decides not to display the upper half of the video.

You guys are victims of the bad Windows Update like I was.

Luckily they've fixed it a few days ago. Just let Windows install the important updates, reboot and you're good to go.

Had the same problem, but it was only during the opening cinematic...other than that, it worked great and the game seemed to run better overall too.
