Perhaps they're only accepting PS3 codes at the moment. I haven't received any email saying that pre-registration is available for PC yet.

Nope b.c my Code is doing the same as most others. PS3 I got from Amazon back in June.

That's not mine. I borrowed it from the beta forums. I've seen both ps3 and windows versions so the site is working if you get lucky.

Okay then I take back all the negative comments I made about you being a lucky bastage (in my head) when I saw your post.

You're okay in my book! Smiley: grin

You can input the PS3 code on the website also, but good luck, servers are getting hammered.

And yes 18 for PS3, 20 for PC

There was a problem. Please try again later Smiley: frown

Okay so now I got to where I put in my PS3 code... and I'm also getting "There was a problem. Please try again later."

On a positive note, congrats on guru status Hairspray!

This is for the actual game client, not the beta.

For people not in the beta, P4 client will work for release/early access. Or for people like me that have it on PC but still need their PS3 clients Smiley: tongue

Yea but the beta p4 client for the pc and ps3 was supposed to be good for early access and the game launch.
No need to d/l anything else..

I had not heard that. Do you have a source for this info? I hope it's accurate, that would save us all some headaches.

It was posted in the beta forums. I unfortunately can't seem to find that post, but trust that it's true.

Download and Install the FFXIV: ARR Beta Test Software (Windows)
This thread explains how to download and install the test client (Windows version).
FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (Beta Version)

Please download the game client here.
* The download size is approximately 109MB.

* This software can be used for Beta Test phase 4 (Final Beta), early access, and the official release once the game has launched.

That one?

I'm reasonably certain this is true, as well. I'm almost 100% sure I read somewhere that the Beta 4 client IS the Early Access and Release client. I, too, can't seem to find the link so as to prove it, but I am reasonably certain. Of course, you're always free to delete the client and reinstall. Smiley: nod

Edit: Ooops! Sent too late. :)

Yea that is where I saw it too.. But that is the pc. Maybe it is not the same for the ps3? It does not say it on the ps3 page but the fact it can update the client I would assume it would just update.

Does anyone bought the game trough PSN? I made my preorder last week on PSN and I haven't received any code in my inbox yet. I sent my mail to the pre-order registration site but still nothing...Anyone with the same problem?

In your PS3, Go into Account Management >>Transaction Management>> Services List

If you pre-ordered through PSN, the listing for early access will be in the FFXIV folder, as well as your bonus items pack.
