Didn't see this immediately searching the forums, and I'm tired and going to bed.

* The game client from Beta Test phase 4 (open beta test) can also be used as the game client for Early Access. You do not need to uninstall the Beta Test phase 4 client and install anything else.


Assuming the client info goes for PS3 and PC.

Specifying "Legacy Status" seems to settle that regular 1.0 players are not automatically eligible.

Nuuuu! And here I was looking forward to playing when i got off of work tomorrow night.. I guess I'll have to make a trip to see my g/f on Friday since we haven't seen one another in a couple weeks because of this game XD.

That is correct. Only 1.0 Legacy Accounts get early access. Regular 1.0 people (myself included) have to wait until next Tuesday to play. Unless of course you purchased a copy of ARR and attached the pre-order code to your original account (myself included)

SE is making me an early riser this summer lol, I've gotten up at 5 for every beta weekend. Complete opposite of FFXI circa 2005 when I was going to bed at 5 am instead.

I've applied a pre order code to my 1.0 account but I can't find anywhere that confirms from SE it will work. Opened a ticket a day or two ago and no reply from them.

Going to be gutted if I can't pay Saturday. Anyone heard from SE that it WILL work ? I know it sounds like it should but you never know with SE>

nope, CE 1.0 gets CE 2.0 items(helmet of light, baby behemoth ect) but no early access

You do get a new set of Collector's items for ARR, but you also get to download the complete game for free and get to play the first 14 days starting on Aug. 27 for free.
