Square Enix, Worst Customer Service EverFollow

I entered the web chat queue at 150+ three times today and each time after reaching 1 it said no agents available and asked me to send an email. After spending over three hours on the phone I finally managed to speak with somebody. My problem is I have two service accounts under my Square Enix account for Final Fantasy 14. Account One has my phase 4 character, Onion Helm, and Asura Armguards and Account Two has my 1.0 Collector's Edition game code. I want to add my Early Access code to my account but now I have to choose between if I want to keep my phase 4 character or if I want to keep my Collector's Edition items. I asked the service rep to move my items or character so they are on the same account and he replied that it couldn't be done. I asked for a new Collector's Edition code and to just close one of the accounts but they wouldn't do that either.

Is there anything I can do or am I just screwed and forced to buy another Collector's Edition to get the items on my Account One Phase 4 character?

There was a problem with my accounts back in beta for 1.0. Somehow I ended up with two accounts.

My bf has 2 accounts as well and he put his beta code on the wrong one (no CE items) but once P4 started all 1.0 players got access to beta so all he had to do was log on the right account and make his char there. I have spoken to them many times be for P4 about switching his info to the different service account and all 4 SE people said there is no way to do this.

Imo take the extra 2 days and start over so you get your CE items the courel mount alone is worth it. Or buy a brand new CE (digital) and apply the code to the other account. Depends if the time or money is worth it.

You're probably screwed Smiley: frown

And while I'm no fan of SE's customer service, I'm not sure why this is their fault. Did you just not use the right account to play in beta 4? Why wouldn't you use the account with all the legacy stuff on it?

I logged into FF XIV 1, made a character and it had the Onion Helm and Asura Armguards so I went with it. Square Enix is telling me the CE code is applied to my second account but the items are applied to my first account. It also sounds like the "free" copy I'm getting for being a CE owner is going to be applied to account two so I either have to lose my character or buy a copy of the game for account one.

You don't need to be a CE owner for a free copy of the game. The regular 1.0 account should give you the free copy as well.

I thought about calling when SE put another account in my list.Maybe they'll merge them after the 2 week free trial. I have Sprint shoes i don't use and the legacy chocobo i'm just going to go with that instead of looking for the other 1.0 CE items.I plan on not getting hyped up this time and just burn through the story.
