I love this game when it actually works, incredible and a ton of fun,
it is a fantastic as an entry into Final Fantasy series too....

Over the last 2 years they have changed a lot of peoples minds and managed to get rid of the bitter taste in their mouth that 1.0 left us with.
A ton of people have been excited for a realm reborn, and it looks like the game could do fantastically well based off the beta records they broke.....

But man, if they ***** up this launch, ANOTHER terrible launch will surely undo all of the good press they've gotten and remind everyone of 1.0.

God, I HOPE that things run smoothly from the 27th onwards, I so badly want this game to get good reviews and good press.

If they ***** it up with these server issues and things dont get better by the 27th........

I'm a huge final fantasy fanboy, i think even i will run out of patience by the end of next week if things dont improve.
I just dont want to see damage the final fantasy name even more than they did with 1.0

To SE, the NA/EU population is only a bonus.

as long the japanese side works, who cares. Investors are japanese mostly anyway. They must ensure japan side works.

The problem is NA/EU makes up 80% of the sales. That would be huge to lose that market.

Edit: Scratch that data. It appears to be from 2010 after further looking at it. But still leaving it for you to look at.

Come on, that's an absolutely absurd thing to even think, let alone say out loud.

No. NA/EU sales/subs will far outstrip the JP sales/subs. That's not even a debate.

After the last 2 years I want this game to succeed more than anything, because simply put it really has turned into an amazing game, I have found myself getting really getting immersed into the lore and story line, I can't wait to explore more of the world and fight more of the primals!

I know a lot of people dont care about reviews and what critic say online about a game, but they badly need to get this launch right, and get some solid press.
This game has a good shot of being a lot better and more popular than final fantasy 11 was (and that is saying something), I want to see that happen very much.

Fingers crossed they sort this out, If they do and get things working, I can see a realm reborn becoming my favourite final fantasy.

All I am reading is "I am a FF fanboy but still felt the need to post some dribble about I hope they do well............."

Damn people, we all know they are having server problems. We all wish they would have been more prepared. We all have wasted time/money of some sort.

Not to take it out on you OP but some of us are checking this site to see updates rather than a **********

I am hoping they get this fixed quick not so much as I can play more but don't have to see these threads popping up.

They're lucky they don't have to contend with this right now:

Otherwise it would be game over. I guess they have until Q2 2014 to get it right.....lol.

I will be just getting out basic. And going to A school by then. So its FF XIV or IDK what I am going to do til I leave for basic.

They're ******** the launch up already, the NA/EU servers are blatantly overloaded while JP servers are veritable ghost towns. Unless they expand the NA/EU cluster or start bribing (successfully) a significant number of players into transferring to JP servers (Providing they even have those systems in place yet) things are only going to get worse on the 27th when the rest of the crowds come a logging.

Just a funny thing, I have the EU version (even if I'm from Australia) because anyone who has an English version but not NA will automatically be EU.
