All you do is just afk at your character screen for like 20-30min or so maybe even shorter, just before you log into the game screen, where you see your character. Thats what i did and then Queue will come up after that, DO NOT THOUCH QUEUE, It would automatic login you in hopefully! Came back, I'm 642 in queue after trying to log in.
HOWEVER:
It also seems my world may have crashed prior to this although I see no announcement about it.
edit: Went to actual log in, then error 90k.

I doubt there's any merit to this. I got into the queue too after trying dozens of times, and restarting the client etc. The thing that puzzled me is the last time it finally let me in the queue, there were only 6 players ahead of me...
Probably just a clever way to get less people making login attempts, increasing the poster's chances. :D

I got a world could not be reached server error while on a 24 person wait time. Think the error code was 1014?

Can't get the NA/EU server to even come up anymore. Where is news of this maintenance? If this doesn't work, I am tempted to try a Japanese server just to mess around in for awhile. Might be fun.

Ah alright. Well I think this was the same hour as last time so I'm guessing it comes back up 3 AM PDT or something? Maybe a nice nap is in order. It feels like the only real times to play is during the early morning hours of 5 AM to about 10 PM EST.

My 'workaround' claim that I have been finding relatively successful....
Golf (or some other outdoor activity) + watch football (or another form of entertainment depending on circumstance or individual) + make good food w an addition of social interaction + drink beer and wine... I have found doing these things, order I am still working on, and then attempting to log has worked for me. I think I have got around 10-12 hours of playtime via this method (no joke). Its not 100% tho, so you might have to repeat the process a few times and try logging again...
I will post my final result on the 27th during launch. Hope I could help in anyway. See you in-game :)
