On launch day.Follow

#1 Aug 26 2013 at 7:38 AM Rating: Decent
Le me get this right. From what I read is it correct that on launch day nothing is goin to change? Are we still going to be stuck on the lobby waiting for a turn to play the game by pressing join and hoping to get in like playing a slot machine? After a long weekend of maintenances after "emergency maintenances" what the hell are they thinking? I want to play the game but not under those conditions, I think I will cancel my pre order and only buy the game when this is fixed, I see no point on waiting for a turn to play by relying on a draw of luck. Someone of you might say go ahead more room for us to get in, but seriously I suggest everyone to not buy this game and hit SE where it hurts. This is not acceptable they knew how many people were waiting to play this game, I'm tired of their excuses, 3 years waiting only to get ******* on again?

I've been one of the luckier ones that had no trouble, though I think it probably have trouble when I get off work in eight hours... That's around peak I think. But honestly, every MMO ever has had issues at launch. The game we have here is a completely solid game. When you're actually able to play. Server issues is nothing new to an MMO launch. If you don't like dealing with that then I suggest you give the game enough time to get off its feet before making your purchase.

They should have done what they did with 11. Starts the jps 2 years early then beta the ps3 english client for a month solid then add the pc beta for the duration of beta. Then do 2 separate releases 5 months apart to balance servers and complete stress testing.... But no they want to do a worldwide release on the same day. Silly SE! You did it right with 11.

why are you still engaging with something (this game) that makes you so emotionally turbulent and generally unpleasant?

think about it.

Is this where people pretend to believe you had any intention of acting otherwise?

If im in the game Im happily enjoying myself (except when instances are borked). If Im locked out because SE didnt do their homework then Im very angry and come here to vent. How difficult is that to fathom?
