PS3 Using a keyboard and mouse. (hotkey problems)Follow

I am a PlayStation 3 user and I am using a keyboard and mouse. I do not like the gamepad at all and I understand that some people may enjoy playing using the gamepad but I am not one of those players. In phase 3 beta 1-9 on the keyboard were used for the cross hotbar. Now in phase 4 beta and also early release this feature is non existent. When I press 1-9 nothing happens, I find myself having to click my skills and well that is not efficient at all while playing the game. Is there any way to set this up so that I am able to use 1-9 for my hotbar on my PlayStation 3. Any help would be wonderful. I have asked on many threads and have received little to no help.

Any help would be wonderful. I know that in the system settings for the PC you have the option to choose either the mouse/keyboard or the gamepad, but on the PS3 that is not the case.
