So, I finally got into a GC, Twin Adders FTW! And I am looking to earn some seals. I know doing FATEs will generate you seals so I started out doing these but usually by the time i would get to a FATE they would be over or damn near over, netting me very little for the event. So, i switched to doing leve's. Currently I am doing the 3 (level 20) leves offered in camp hawthorn outside Gri as these seem to net me the most in the shortest amount of time. Each leve gets me about 200 seals, along with 2-4k exp and takes no longer then 2 minutes to complete. There is not travel time either as all 3 of them take place directly outside the camp.

After about 4 hours of this, i have earned 6k in seals and went from lvl 22-24. I wanted to know if this was a decent rate of earning seals, if not, i am open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks.

Sounds pretty good to me. I only have about 1k seals from doing FATE's last night. I don't know why (I must have missed something) but my Leves aren't working... although I was doing them in Phase 3 just fine...

I will have to go back through and see what I missed to open up Leves myself.

Everyone and their minions are hunting Fate right now. causing them to be complete very very fast.

But yeah, IMO, best way to make seal is light Fate hunting with some levee, just do your regular levee and when a fate pop in close to you, join in.

If you don't have anymore levee available, go in a zone, or rather, a region of a zone where there isn't any camp near and have a great number of Fate poping.

Getting into FATE parties gets you great EXP and company seals. I was in one yesterday and in the 4 hours I had gone from level 32 to 35 and accumulated 20k seals, I was able to promote myself as high as I could at rank 1, buy a weapon and robe in my company, went back to Fate partying and still have a little over 16k seals left when I logged off last night. It also was great to grind Fates with a party of people. Fun times! BTW, the FATE, "It's Not Lupus" which is Cancer, a notorious monster, will grant you only 2k EXP while solo, but 20k EXP if in a group, and he pops roughly once an hour. This is in the area when you hit 30, can't remember the name of the area but it is a beach resort.

So doing FATEs in parties nets you more exp / seals then solo? I did not know that. I'm only lvl 24, where would you suggest i go? was doing the leves as they were easy and fast, but should i be saving them for something else?

If you just hit 20-22 and have not done Hala, do that. There are like three mobs in there that count to the GC hunting log and nets at least 1k of seals for the run. Of course, this is only on the first run... but still, it helps a boatload getting that first 2k seals.

So GC leves, GC hunting log, FATEs.

I take it it's part of the main storyline?

Not really sure about this. I got a quest from somewhere about talking to the guy outside Hala (Near Drybone), so I did while I was out there. That unlocked the dungeon and I decided to DF it right there to see if I could get in. Lesson learned, queuing up as a healer for anything pre-30s is insta-pop.
