Main Story Quest ConfusionFollow

looked all over the internet and cant seem to find a good quest guide.

It seems I just skipped over the main story line, i guess. But I can't find anywhere to initiate it. I pretty much have completed all the quests available in my home town, i was certain that the main was part of that. Apparently. I am level 20 without access to chocobos or retainers or grand companies.


Anyway, can anyone list the first 5 or 6 Main Story Line Quests for Limsa Lominsa and who exactly initiates the quest? Help would be much appreciated. I could cross reference to the quests I completed so far.

This happened to us... go into your quest log and toggle the view to see completed quests...

You'll have a drop-down menu listed. Choose Main Story line quests and you'll see a list of all completed.

Read over the last few quests in that log VERY closely... go back to the quest NPC's and retrace every step...

VERY often in the main story line, you'll finish one and the next quest is NOT given by the same NPC, but one nearby. You have to be very alert or you'll pass right by it and never even know you missed it...

Depending on where you are in your main story line, you'll find an NPC with the fire emblem above their head nearby to an NPC you had already spoken to to turn in your most recent completed quest.

Yeah what happened is you walked away from the NPC between finishing and receiving the next quest.

You need to go to Waking Sands, and talk to ole' pinkboobs.

Because she is inside an instanced zone you will NOT see the quest marker on any of the maps.

Been using that lately.

Find someone who started in Limsa. Have them look at their Journal and look at the completed section. Read off the last paragraph that you have in your log and tell that person to find what to do next.

A FC member of mine had this problem last night. He started in Ul'dah, however. Eventually it came down to finding the NPC buried underneath all the quest NPCs in one of the main city's inns/adventure guilds.

Are you stuck on the envoy part and how to access Sastasha? This is where he was at. Make sure the follow up isn't hidden!

Also a good idea to check with Baderon, Momodi and perhaps check Camp Drybone.

Don't feel bad, we were lost on that one for most of Beta 4, and then the first day or two of EA also.... finally got Crystal into the dungeons on Tuesday.
