whats the best way to make gil pre level 10 when all teh quests in your area are done? doesnt even have to be a large amount but when equipment you cant costs 200-300 gil each well being broke is a bad thing lol. Soo what woud be th ebest way to get about 5k gil between level 5 and 10? (and remember no quests ae avilible)?

Try levelling a Hand class, gold smithing makes a good amount but it's a little higher than level 10.. More like level 15-16, earrings, bracelets, chokers.. Sell for like 500-700 each.

If ur trying to make gil to buy equipment/gear the best thing to do is to just quest, and if ur thinking theres no quests available then ur missing something. There are so many things to do in this game and so many ways to level up early on and especially on your first class its ridiculous. Personal story, class story, open world quests, guildhests, guildleves, hunting logs, dungeons, and fates all offer ways to level up and get gear. There should be very little you need to actually buy if anything at all.

ive done all the quests in the uldah area getting my pug to 15 now i wanna get gld and thm to 15 in the uldah area and thrre no quests left there. i mob grinded to lvl six in about 30 mins but now thats slow. i dont wanna go to othere cities and do their quests because i wanna save those for tbe clases that start in those cities also i could wea my pug gear on gld but gld has better gear for their class at those lvl suc as stuff that adds vit and has more def than pug gear which is good for tank such as the bronze or haubergeon armor so id wanna buy that for gld and thm has gear that increases int and mnd which id wanna buy for them. all that being said, what the best way to lvl thm and gld to 15 and get the gil to buy the gear i want under those conditions?

See above post....

Grinding to 6 is a good idea imo, thats what I do as well. Once u are 6 u can fill out your hunting log fairly easily. Hit every fate you can get into while traveling to hunting log targets and you can get to 10 with little problem. Getting vit gear at such low levels isn't necessary, you could wear the starting gear you get when first beginning the game to 10 and get by fine.

You didn't mention what class you are playing in the OP. I'm not very far along myself in leveling a class, but I have never, even when buying gear ( fillers here and there) from vendors, repairing on a regular basis etc., ever found that I was having to stall progression by needing a means of gil other that that given by doing quests.

Pre-10 you aren't going to have access to a retainer to sell items, so further gil making discussions are kind of pointless. I'd just say press on and worry about gil later.

I haven't found much need for gil to be honest. As you go though the class quests and main story line you will be given most of the gear you need.

That being said, I'm a fiend when it comes to finding good money. I'm more a fan of farming than gathering, but here is what I've found so far.

Gathering professions
- the base materials like logs and ore may not sell for the most but they sell consistently.
- the botany quest at 5 and 10 ask for 50 maple sap and 99 crow feathers. gather these to sell on the market to people too lazy to gather them. (It's annoying to come back to the guild at 10 only to find out you need to go back out and gather 99 of an item you ignored)
-the other gathering quests probably have similar requirements. I don't know what they are though so look them up or maybe someone here can help.

Farming
- pre level 10 the only thing I've found worth selling is Megalocrab legs. I have no idea why but they're 200g each. I level my marauder on crabs from 9-13 and made about 5k. They're easy too because they have a cone aoe that you can avoid, and there is a FATE nearby.
Once you can kill Goobbues at 12, the fangs sell for about 300g. You'll have to check your server's market, of course, but they should all be roughly the same.

Hope that helps a bit!

i know vit isnt important at that lvl but i like having the best i can get whether i need it or not. also hows the exp bons work ive heard two different things one is any class thats lower than your highest lvl class gets a bonus so if your highest is 15 every class 1-14 gets a bonus exp. the other was after you hit 50 the oter classes get bonus exp.... soooo which is it?

Your not going to have enough quests in the game to do if you want to lvl multiple classes solely on quest expected. It's just not going to happen. Other than that, you might try lev quests or fate hunting. Gil wise, you'll just have to do the lev quests since they will be your best bet for income until your high enough to craft/gather high demand items. I would highly recommend starting botany or mining. Not only will it provide you with materials needed to level a craft for free, you can also sell the stuff you don't need for money.

EDIT: when it comes to exp bonuses, the only one you'll have access to is the rested bonus.you can also join a rank 5 free company and they can purchase exp bonuses. The exp bonus you mentioned doesn't kick in until you have a lvl 50 character. The bigger the difference is between your lvl and your lvl 50 character, the bigger the bonus will be.
