Ok here go's.

Love the game, really bad launch no doubt. Also given the fact the game miserably failed 3 years ago. One would think they learn lessons. Yes there is imrpovement, but I would of thought less problems.
The things that just bugs me the hardest, is not the log in problems, it's the fact of 0 communication. A simple re-assuring tweet, would proberbly help the community so much. Sadly for months to come alot will just rememmber this game as a failure due to it's launch, thus killing community spirit of bashing for hours just trying to log in.
To avoid all this frustration, and loss of futur clients, some simple information. A man being payed 5$ an hour, can simply update a sentence or 2 every 30mns on progress due to the history of this game is very light demanding in my opinion.
Alot of people waited for this game a while, work during weeks, so obviously less people online, and when these casual gamers come on, they can't, because the hardcores stay logged in all day/night.
At least have a 1 hour non mouvement deconnection program hell.

Once again love the game, will be playing for months hopefully years to come.

They don't need to worry about rock bottom when gamers like you are there to cushion the fall.

I thank you for your constructive post. It goes a long way in showing your character (no pun intended)

To that, I'd like to state that they do tweet rather regularly at @FFXIV_NA_NEWS as well as Yoshida does post on the official forums with updates as to where they're at, why they're there, and what they're doing and when. This is far above and beyond what we had, which was nothing as you stated.

Hopefully these server upgrades Wednesday will help alleviate some of this. It won't alleviate all of it, that much is clear, but hopefully it'll be more bearable and acceptable.
