months after launch. Now, since you're under the belief that servers come off the shelf ready to go, I want you to go buy a blade server tonight and set up a basic fully functional LAMP server. It's really simple to set up.
Oh, and make sure it can handle 250,000 concurrent db transactions with several million calls per second. If you need to, buy a cluster of blade servers and have them all up and running tonight.
Heck, we'll be nice and say within two days, as per your post.
Now since you can't do that and don't even begin to understand how that would even happen, I suggest you sit back, let the upgrades happen, and call it a day.
