Ok, until we officially iron out our forums, I am going to post this here as well as on our lodestone forums. So far, these are the nominations we have for FC officers. I apologize if the spellings are wrong, I was bombarded with tells and wrote as fast as I could.

Callinon Soulforge
Cilia Maroth
Valefor Almasy
Lance FancySauce
Amarok Goodfellow
Ronyn Olorin
Ghost Orchid
Nghthawk Evenfall
Raxion Gunsoul
Boj Bgood
Pryssant Novio
Rhaya Mewrilah
Chewe Dankles
Duma Katosuki
Master Shake
Dare Knight

If you have anyone else you'd like added to the list, post it here. I'll leave this for a couple days, then we can put it to a vote. Please note, these positions will be on a trial basis just to make sure that everyone nominated is a good fit.

I understand that, which is why I pointed out that it is a trial basis. Unfortunately, I am not on 24/7, and I cannot be available for all of the companies concerns. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that we get some officers involved as soon as possible to help progress the company and keep it on the right path. I'm sorry everyone hasn't been able to login consistently, but nothing that is decided now will be a 100% permanent solution. We will continually re-evaluate the company as a whole and make sure that those involved in leadership positions are able to be in-game consistently and move us in a successful direction for the entire company.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that I don't think Danny Bonaduce would make a very good officer. He drinks too much.

I see names on a page. Name I don't know haha.

I do know Cilia and will be voting for them.

But, to be well informed, perhaps... defining the roll of an officer, and perhaps an introduction to why these people are good is in order?

What is your in-game name?

We will be going over this in our next FC meeting, once more people are able to log in.

It does look like just a big jumble of names to me as well, and I'm even on the list. I think the reason for that is that the ZAM FC is just so big, that we haven't had to time to learn the identity of most of our members. I've seen a few people on the list talking in FC chat a few times, but quite a few of them I've never seen or spoken to even once. (As, I'm sure, is the same case with me as well.)

I made the suggestion of putting myself and Callinon on the list, mainly for the fact that we've both been in an officer position in previous games before. Having past experience with a similar role would surely help, I think.

Having said that, I'm not out to step on anyone's toes by saying that I have past experience. The nomination process needs to flesh out first. I would rather have someone better suited for the job end up with it than myself, if a person like that is in the FC and willing to undertake it. It's for the betterment of the FC overall. We need people that are willing and capable of leading. If that doesn't happen to be me, that's perfectly fine.

Bartel said last night during the meeting that he would like to see the ZAM FC become the #1 FC on the server. I don't doubt for a moment we have that potential, we just need to make sure we take the right steps to put us there. So far we haven't taken a wrong step, so I'd say we're on the right track.

The biggest issue is, starting an FC like this, without leadership in place makes it difficult to get a foothold. My idea is to have all officers go through a trial period of 2-4 weeks, where you can be evaluated to make sure you are a good fit. After that period, people can weigh in and decide if they think these members should be permanent officers. We will also have re-evaluations on a regular basis to make sure that the current officers are best suited for their positions.

All jokes aside, I would have no problem being an officer. I've always been placed in a leadership role, in games and out. I just can't log in.

For the vote, how many resulting officers will there be? I think you should keep the number low for the moment. We still need to get to know each other, and there will be plenty of time to add more later. Once the sub-linkshells go up, I think it would be a good idea to give their respective leaders officer status as well.

Dare Knight in-game, though currently tooling around on Valefor with a lack of ability to get into Ultros reliably.

If my name ever came up I un-nominate myself because I'm still burnt out from 4 years of Dynamis. Smiley: laugh

Not that I've been able to get on Ultros in the last week either, so I've been playing on Lamia instead. Smiley: frown

Someone Left Rhaya Mewrilah off the list. She is a lvl 50 and has helped me quite a bit on my road to 50. And now that I am there, I can thank Chewe Dankles, Rhaya, Lance, Don Fletcher, and Duma Katosuki for helping me the most. And Master Shake for the comedy. So put them all on the list, they deserve it.

And Bartel you should be on there at least leading the crafting department if wedding duties keep you from the lead role.

And sorry I missed the meeting. I went to the store at 7pm thinking the meeting was at 9 my time and it turned out it was changed and started exactly when I left for the store.

How about those people post a little about themselves, just so we get an idea of who they are. Perhaps a little bit about what experience they have in leadership or a little bit about their personality. As someone had posted, it's just a list of names for some of us.

Just something about the person. Otherwise I'm voting Danny Bonaduce, at least i know what I'm getting with him.

*Crosses own name out.* I appreciate the thought, but there are others much better suited to the role than I am. I do, however, agree with your other recommendations.

Let me see...

Golf, Beer, Wine, Food, Beaches, Women... Oh wait ;)

Vet RDM and NIN from FFXI. Worked in conjunction with fellow xi's managing social and end-game ls's on Fairy server. Guess you could call me the number two guy. If primary leaders were unavailable I would step up and assume the role. Also had a knack for mediating during meetings regarding direction of our crew.

All-in-all, just want to contribute what I can to our team. Think we have a super rad thing going and will do whatever I can to contribute in a positive manner, officer or not. Good luck everyone!

Edit: I also own a visual media production company with a 'revolving' team of 20+. I also am an audio engineer...

General Manager: Amerada Hess Corporation (7 years)
Assistant Manager: Target Corporation (8)

Both of those were in retail and have since kick that bucket and now 1 of 3 software engineers for our company.

Linkshell leader of Unknown Force (5yrs) - Ragnarok FFXI

Officer Raid Leader - WoW - Stormscale (Cataclysm expansion) (1 yr)

I love gaming, MMO's especially been playing them since a yr after made its release in the US. I would consider myself a semi hardcore player that loves to have fun, joke around and just have a good time. There is always times to put on a game face and get serious, but doing so in a positive and fun way.
Catch everyone in the game possible thur morning before going to work.

Thank You.
I second both your nominations for officer roles as you both seem to have experience with managing people, both in game and out.
