The real test comes in a couple hours when it becomes east coast prime time. If I get home and can not log in, it was a fail on SE, and no amount of defending them will stop people from quitting this game in droves.
This scenario seems so unlikely.
People who bought the game have access for at least 30 days. If they fix it on day 25 and everything is up and running. Forgiveness will be forthcoming. No one is going to be like, I have this awesome game, it was one of my favorites and I really wanted to play it but because they had login issues for 25 days I'm not even going to try it now that they don't.
I just don't think that's how people think.
They made the game free to play for years over their last issue, they've already promised an extra 7 days. people will use the game time they have and they will judge it on the final product. There is no doomsday clock.
My prediction was next week Wed for real improvement. Server structure seems hard, especially what they are attempting to do.
