PS3 in Large FATESFollow

So we just downed Behemoth on Siren, and I'm pretty sad about the way it went for me. I was trying to play Bard on PS3, and for about 90% of the fight I either couldn't see Behemoth or was dead from not being able to see him. I've tweaked all the settings I know to tweak, but this seems to happen to me in most crowded Boss type FATES. Does anyone know of some sort of work around for this, or am I stuck?

Unfortunately for us ps3 players we stuck like this our best bet is to buy ps4 once it's released along with XIV

It happens to those of us on PC as well. Both on Odin and Behemoth, I generally only get bronze simply because I can't see the Mob long enough to do more than one or two hits on them. Starting to think I should just Level CNJ or SCH and run around the edge of the FATE spamming Cures and Raises.

I also thought about cross classing raise on Archer.

I don't pretend to know anything about the technical side of it, but it would be great if at least the thing you were targeting was given some sort of priority on screen.

Wont work if you cant see the target as the aoe wont land on it. I speak from experience. The only thing you can do is drop your grpahics settings to the bottom then you can see them.

No, there is no workaround. I'm sure you already turned off the effects which is basically all you can do. The main problem with Behemoth is the snow animation. I find my PS3 does much better in large fates that don't have weather effects. For some reason, Treants are the bane of PS3 users too. The PS3 only has 512MB of RAM so it doesn't shock me this is happening. There are too many people fighting these mobs. The PS4 version should handle these fights much better. Simply put, we need to upgrade to PS4.

It's on SE's end.

It still happens with PC, you just need to be in a much larger FATE, than PS3, for it to have rendering issues. But PC doesn't experience animation stalling, like the PS3 does, but the invisible EVERYTHING is for both.

I have also a ps3 and xbox360, but MMOs i will ever only play on pc, because you can never handle a ui so well on console, especial when you use markos addons and so on like on PC, imagine wow on PS3 without community addons. It woul be like gimping yourself. Everyone else runs on 2 feet and you cutting one of and try to be as good as everyone else but just with one feet. Thats just not Possible.

Thats why i allways only can smile on people whitch bought an mmo for console and complaining about different problems. XD

There are pros to the consoles, though. Most console players like to kick back and relax while gaming on the couch, and the console is more conducive to that (unless you have your gaming PC hooked up directly to the TV, as some folks do.) Other people are more comfortable using the controller for a long period of time.

Sure that some guys are good with Controller to, But if you would dirct Compare a PC and a PS3 or XBox360 Player that uses the Controller i bet everytime the PC Player will whin. Why? more shortcuts, faster reaction Tme, faster and more easier Chatting (i guess everyone knows what i mean^^) and if you play a shooter the Precise aiming goes far more easier and faster (unless you are a pro with the controller) than with any controller.
Also you can do on pc multible things in the background witch on Consoloe alone wouldnt be possible (listen music, downloading, TS3 or Skype with friends while gaming). Or if you play something like Rift or WoW you can also use multiple Community Addons for your game witch enhance your game Xperience or make it easier for or gives you more information(like an DPS Tool, Threat meter, Better Maps, AH Tool and so on) (depends on what you want)

So for me there is realy no Point in Playing an MMO on console ever. Consoles are good for Racing-, Sport-, RPG Games (like FF and so on, but not for Skyrim and co.) or Actiongames like GTA (even if i would prefer it on PC for better Graphics).

Btw. I belive there is no real need for Consoles anymore today except moneymaking, you can developt every Game also for PC and if you own a Controller and link your Screen to your TV you cant get and even Better Xperience than playing the same Game from and Xbox or PS because you can get mutch better Graphics (if the Game Supports it). And a good mid lvl gaming pc today dont costs so mutch anymore. I build 2 months ago for around 500€ a Gaming PC with self choosed Hardware for my Friend whitch can play every Game and Maximum without performance Issues and still have lot of Capacity unsed.

Maybe a Console is cheeper on First look, but in compare to that what you can to do and get from a PC (use him also for work), the PC should allways been the first choice. (My Opinion^^)
