So here's the story all about how, my debit card payment was refused. Once again, or should I say, still. The error 601 taunts me with his un-accepting ways. No other site has giving me this problem, but alas it feels like everything is different with SE and the way they handle things. I guess I can not play for much money.

I looked at that, but they only accept Visa so I assumed i'd get the same error.

Any shops nearby that offer the monthly subscription cards?

Nope because I live in Korea at the moment which is why I get the 601 error (I think). My billing address doesn't match my I.P address? I really don't know.

Call your bank and tell them that a charge from Square Enix should be authorized. The automatic denial might not even be on SE's end.

I did that when I originally had problems with paying for FF11, the bank received no such charges.

I was also getting the 601 error on all my cards. I had to ask family in the US to buy me some Ultimate Game Care and sends me the pins so that I could buy Crysta. Pretty ridiculous, but it was my only choice.

I was getting 601s as well, but I figured out that it was the NoScript plugin ******** it up, temporarily turned it off and it went through without any problems... So if you use it or a similar plugin try disabling it and see if it helps.

This, I'm glad I read the whole thread before I said what this guy said. I had to open all scripts globally thru NoScript in order for SE to finally accept a card. Not just any card, I tried 3 different ones before they finally accepted my debit card. (So if my checking acct is cleaned out someday, I'll know who to blame. :P )
