Quarrymill is the lamest hamletFollow

I don't even know how it earns its sanctuary status.

There's no place to hide from the elements. All the other hamlets have buildings you can at least enter or tent coverings, if not comfy beds to crash on like most of them do. Even Dragonhead has warm fires and shelter from the bitter cold.

Quarrymill's doors are all closed, and if you log out there, your options are to stand around and hope it doesn't rain (which it will) or climb under the leaky wooden overhang of the outer walls and curl up on some burlap sacks.

I think Buscaroon's Druthers should have gotten the aetheryte.

At least I'd have a chair to sit in ... and the option of grabbing a pint while I'm "resting" until I log in again! Smiley: bah

I dont care when I'm logged out.. but sitting around in Quarrymill durring a heavy storm is annoying. I agree that at least a dusty shack, or a tent even, would serve that camp nicely.

Everyone could huddle under the little roof that the Independent Mending merchant stands under. It could be like a bus stop!

It's always busy too! It has good DoH leves up to 30 but you can never get a spot inside to craft at the weekend that isn't covered by people on Megitek mounts waiting for the next FATE to pop. >.<

You could just man, or girl, up and stand in the same spot, 24hours a day with no shirt on. Rain or Shine. That's what Meffrid and the other Highlander do.

Also the people there are ********. Oh you are hurt? Even if you are a baby? Let's leave you in the middle of the forest and let the "elements" decide.

I always thought there should be another node at Busc's. I mean there's one at Tranquil.

And look at the Cereleum plant and Bluefog. They're really close and each has a node.

There should be one at St. Coinach's and Whitebrim too.

Ha, I spent weeks doing every quest in and around Quarrymill thinking it was Tranquil to get my fighting chocobo . Sucks I didn't find out till lv 50 that a rope bridge on top of pillars surrounded by mobs is named place. Tranquil Is way worse than Quarrymill, at least it has walls and a real wooden bridge to hide under. I watched many a traveler get killed by those birds the guards sometime ignore at Tranquil.

I have a hard time caring about the environment when it's almost completely obscured by dozens of Magitek Armor mounts. I hate Quarrymill.

Those guards were my saving grace when I was leveling Botnaist off the Flax nodes around Tranquil!

Tranquil makes up for its lack of proper shelters by having an amazing view.
