Yeah we already knew they planned to add additional races. They had a survey to find out what we wanted. Everyone voted overwhelmingly for bunny girls.

Maybe I've been playing too many word scramble games, but I saw "Viangaa" and thought it was a typo by someone trying to spell a certain female body part.

There are pretty big hints in the recent story for one possible race we could be getting.

Yeah, on the new story line shows the new race from Dorma. If you pay attention to the character, she has a tail made of scales. That give us a hint that there is not going to be bunny girls running around anytime soon, but it is definitely a reptile type race. In my FC most people agree that is a dragon race. I guess will will have to wait until the next major patch.

Naw, they have the Mamool Ja from XI without any further explanation.

The Pagdal or whatever they are called are normal Hyur kids who were touched by the elementals of the Twelveswood. You won't find them outside of Gridania.

Like it or not, more monstrous races tend to be a minority selected race in MMOs. People want to look pretty, and looking pretty usually requires being close looking human. The thought of bunnygirls doesn't really tickle me, either, but at the same time, a new PC race so soon strikes me as an abysmal waste of manpower.
