The challenge log has 75k xp worth of bonus chocobo xp in it, every time it resets, hurrah.
Might one day get this silly bird to level 10, need to kill 30 similar levelled mobs with it fo the first 25k and then 70 more to reach 100 mobs killed for the other 50K.
With beastman quests and Atma grinding I find they pass quickly.

Where do you unlock challenge log again? One of the few things I havent done yet.

Challenge log quest starts in the adventurers guild, I did mine in Limsa but I guess there is one in each?
Note that the EXP you get from challenges scale based on level. So you may get more or less than 75k depending on your bird's rank.
By the way, by levels "comparable to your own" it means levels within 5 below you. So if you're 50 you must be killing stuff at least level 45.
Unfortunately, this means at 50 a lot of FATE targets will not qualify, because even when you sync down to them you will still be over 5 levels above the FATE mobs.
