So this came out today for the 3DS:

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call

I'm just going to say this straight up. Get this game. It's freaking amazing. They took an already cool game and made it way better than the original. Go buy this game. Do it. Especially if you're a real FF fan.

I dont know, the first game still left a bad taste in my mouth.

I loved that game, dont get me wrong. But you were basicly paying for 5% of a game, where they let you buy the remaining 95% of it in nice bitesized 1% chunks. There was €50 worth of DLC for the 3DS and €150 worth of DLC for the iOS version. It was sickening.

From what i'm seeing, 200 songs to start off with is a lot better than ~20, but the game starting with "DLC" available when they just as well could have included that in the launch is making me vomit inside the mouth again. I know where this is going, and they're just going to be milking us for money.

By my count the original had 82 tracks, with an additional 52 as DLC. That was plenty for me, too.

I'm looking forward to my copy arriving. :D

Got this for my better-half and she loves it. I do not play it but I do enjoy listening to the music while she is playing it near me.

Edit: best song is when she plays the Titan theme from 14.

Seems like you obviously need a "better half" yourself, as you're clearly lacking one.

The music and art are pretty cool, but I really can't get into the tap/hold/slide type of games. A friend of mine picked this up and I made her show me all of the different modes, but there isn't really much variation. Kinda feels like it would be a neat sort of gimmick if it were spread out between more varied game play, but on it's own it gets stale too quickly for my tastes.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.
