How do you get 370+ gathering on fisher without an off hand to meld? I have fully melded gear on all 3 DoL classes and all Supra tools with fisher being the only one I dont have (i have foragers rod) however even with foragers rod, fully melded fish gear and food my gathering is 362 and I need 370+ (375 prefered) to catch the fish needed for Supra rod.... even at 362 he fish kept getting away... soo how do I raise my gathering?

These newer big fish can be frustrating. That 375 you're aiming for won't guarantee that you catch them every time. Even with 390+ gathering people still get those "the fish gets away" messages. That's just how these fish work. As long as you're not getting the "insufficient gathering" message you'll eventually catch them if you keep at it.

Since GP doesn't matter for fishing you can use i70 battle jewelry. The higher meld caps lets you squeeze in some extra gathering & perception. Then there's +24 from HQ Spinach Quiche and the FC +10 gathering buff that was mentioned. The gathering totals after materia on my gear:

Forget about the gathering accessories and meld T4 gathering materia to DoM/DoW accessories.
