So a great thing happened today. As many of you may know I orignially was on Excalibur before transferring to Ultros to be with the ZAM FC... Well I ran into a lot of my old friends I played ith for years on Excalibur! I was so happy! Got to hang out with old friends and have a good time. The lines were a bit messy...the venue I think was a bit too small for this event. But I still had fun. Was a retainer from 4pm to 10pm at the Speed Run event. At the end they had 4 of use retainers take on 4 other adventurers and we beat them in Brayflox Longstop (Hard)... Retainers unite!... lol Saw Yoshi-P quite a bit and was actually sitting just down the row of chairs from him for a while during the Music Panel. Hopefully I will get a chance to ask him to take a photo with me, would be a great souvenir! I managed to pick up a Delivery Moogle Plushie and an Art book. And tomorrow hopefully we can take down Odin (Hard) with our 8 man group! I am really glad I came. Hopefully if you missed out coming to the event this year you will be able to attend next year.
TO all my friends out there that I haven't seen at the fest yet, I hope your having a fun time... <3 u guys! :D

Depends where it is, but I'd really like to go to a fanfest one of these years. Really been enjoying the Twitch stream as a poor substitute.

Sorry we never caught up, SA! Too much going on. Lost a lot of time in the Odin line (took him down on Sunday) and trying to get that last stamp I needed, which was Frontlines victory... (never did, I always picked the losing teams. Sigh.)

The best part of Fan Fest was when I saw Soken jump onto Bayohne's back to ride him around. I thought Bayohne was joking about it, but I guess he really does ride him around.

They should have it in San Fransisco next year so I can go too!
We're asking for an east coast one next time, say Atlanta, New York, Miami, Montreal. Miami or Montreal would be as much of a plane flight as Las Vegas was for me, though....
Or make it more central. Having it in Chicago or Nashville or something would make it a shorter trip for a lot more people.

For some reason, the windy city never gets big gaming conventions. I think its our labor laws.
Closest thing we get to a convention is Anime Central (ACen), and that's in Rosemont.

Nice. I'm really hoping I get to go this time but once again ACEN is the same weekend as the Dayton Hamvention so probably not :(
Really sucks because I live like 20 minutes away from the convention center.
