The things I hope they do:

1) bring back the original music

2) make it full screen (unlike what we saw in that trailer video)

3) make it so that you can play against other players at ANY time not just in tournaments

I like it being in a smaller window. FFXIV is a beautiful game, there's no reason it should be hidden behind a bland largely unused background. Besides, wouldnt it be fun to actually see your opponent? :/

Well, your opponent would just be standing there doing what they usually do anyway. I'd personally rather have it fullscreen but that mostly comes from playing the original FF games with card games and TM Online in POL viewer, so it's what I'm more used to.

Compromise - make it in one of the resizeable windows like the maps, so you can expand or shrink it to full screen as you desire?

Agreed. I don't play Fullscreen and wouldn't want it to be so (and judging from the trailer for it it doesn't appear to be fullscreen anyway so far).

Probably find they will give you:

1) I don't mind either way
2) They will probably give you the choice
3) They will probably do this
