Weekly Goals and Accomplishments 3/6 - 3/12Follow

#1 Mar 06 2015 at 7:38 AM Rating: Excellent
I'm working from home today for the second day in a row, which means XIV time when I'm not answering emails.

Weekend
- Push dragoon to 40, I was just shy last week and one more roulette will do it
- Break 3 million gil again

Next week
- Get that 50 wins achievement. I hit a slump earlier this week and it took a bit to push past it. 34/50 wins

3/6-3/8 goals

1. On 7/12 for paladin zeta. Keep pushing
2. On 3/12 for bard zeta. Keep pushing.
3. At 56 cards. 4 to go. Need 60 cards and the ability to add unlimited 3 star to the deck to even have a snowballs chance at winning a tournament. Pretty much down to clearing dungeons for cards now, so at least I can get zeta at the same time.

3/9-3/12 goals

4. WoD drop. Probably something for black mage.
5. Tower quest twine goes to paladin legs. Poetics go to Paladin ring. Obviously must cap poetics.
6. After I hit 60 cards I will start chocobo racing.
7. I guess maybe run t10 with the group of misfits I ended up with.

Verdha will be grinding spiritbonding to get/buy IVs for the final Alex stage, with the weekly CT/ST/WoD and a few roulettes to keep the Poetics flowing. Not much need for Soldiery now that materia is the limiting relic factor, not Alex maps.

Waenlona is planning to push THM towards 30 for BLM, advance some more storyline, and hit up Brayflox and Haukke that she hasn't unlocked yet. And hang out with the FC, of course.

I still need to do ST and WoD for my weekly carbonthingy. Hopefully I'll pick up the MNK head or hands from WoD too, though I might just be tempted to get something for one of my less loved jobs.

I'll put some more time into trying to get my FC's schedule into my highly advanced system (aka scribbled on paper) so we can figure out when to try Coil and EX primals.

I continue to be on a streak of not getting the Zodiac item from dungeons. Maybe I can break it this week!

Taken to Spirit Bonding with Lin, doing this while pushing to get as much Alexandrite I can to get to the Novus stage already, this will likely be my primary focus moving forward for a while.
I'm also trying to get hunts done on occasion - the dailies and weeklys, in order to go after the Elite Serpent Spear.

Meanwhile, when I need to cool off, I'll be grabbing some Tripple Triad cards on Eric and Lin both.

Cooling off a bit from PvP, so no goals for Hyrist at this point - play as whim decides.

My focus primarily is all about the Spears, want to get through Relic and into Zodiac and pick up the Glamour Spear I wanted since hunts came out.

Reached my goal over the weekend and made 11 million and bought a medium sized private house in Limsa. My wife was kind enough to loan me another million for the permits and stuff.

Spent almost the whole weekend raiding my FC’s storage for old housing items and crafting to try to make my house look homely.

One of those weekends...

Mostly grind weekend..
I got my Lucis for mining.
I am gathering stuff for gold-smith lucis.
Tesee was gathering stuff for Lucis and for leather Lucis. (she started getting stuff for weaver)

Only two more dungeons left on relic and on to last phase. I got AV and Haukke Manor first try.
This is what we have left and then final phase...
Obtain a slip of Amdapor Vellum from the Lost City of Amdapor
Obtain an Indigo pearl from Sastasha (Hard)
Obtain a perfect mortar and pestle (Desynth aged goods from Silver Bazaar; Craft Item HQ)

What do you do with the 4 items you obtain from the 4 parts?

We spent allot of time crafting perfect vellum and cloth etc. We were able to HQ them with LQ aged materials now no problem.. They dont sell too fast anymore. Plus allot of competition. need to find something else to craft now that sells pretty good.

1. Work on getting all my combat classes to 50 and as many crafting/gathering classes to 50 as I can manage before the expansion comes out. BRD is already at 50 and has been for a long time. MNK is at 44, almost at 45. The rest of my combat classes range from 15-21. I think I can do it. The crafting/gathering classes, though...I'll try, but I may not get them all to 50 in time. MIN is at 31, seven are at 2, and the remaining three are at 4, 6, and 10.

2. Continue doing CT weekly and roulettes.

3. Continue working on upgrading my equipment.

4. Help my wife with her stuff.

That's really it. More than anything, I want to be 100% prepared for when the expansion comes out. So, I have no intricate plans for now. Once 2.55 comes out, I'll do that content of course, but the above will be my main goals for now.

One last thing...I made my first T9 attempt last night with experienced members from my FC. They all did incredible jobs, and I know they complete T9 9 times out of 10 that they attempt it. With me being new to it, though, we didn't quite succeed. I feel really bad about it, but they gave me great advice, and the next time, I'm sure we'll do it.

1. At 9/12 towards the paladin zeta.
2. Still at 3/12 on the bard zeta.
3. At 60 cards finally. Last four were tonberry from WP (1/2), sagahin from sastasha normal (1/3), chimera from cutter's cry (1/3), and ahriman from dd (1/2). Played Indolent Imperial about 200 times, no Gaius drop, bought nearly 20 gold packs, no Zidane or Warrior of Light. I'm done with all that mess. I'm also about 0/20 on shiva card from shiva hm, and 0/20 on mog hm for the king mog card.

Took a break Sunday. Barely played. It is a minor non-rng grind to both zetas now, and I can chocobo race when I have a free moment. Almost caught up to where I want to be.

Have all four in your inventory when you talk to the guy in North Shroud and it allows you to upgrade the relic.

I ended up breaking 4 million over the weekend. I also got my ilvl 130 gloves for BRD, and I'll be focusing on healer gear in WoD for the next few weeks.

So, again, I spent this last week working on triple triad. Sunday evening I got the Deck Hoarder title, so I'm a tad burned out on card farming. However I have one more card goal I want to reach first.

So, for this week:
WoD Drop (I've been after the healer feet since week 1 and I've never seen them drop. Here's hoping since I don't want anything else).
Get another piece of Poetics for PLD (Trying to get it to i120 as well by the expansion along with WHM and BRD)
Collect the final two 2-star cards (I have all 1-star and 3-star cards). After that, only 17 to go.
Maybe FSH30? (We all know that's never going to happen)

Apparently the key for breaking the no luck streak is complaining about it on Zam! Brayflox HM and WP dropped their items for me.

I also managed to get the MNK hands from WoD, so I will probably just buy the poetics head to get a much improved MNK.

End Report of the week.

Lin: Ironworks Feet Augmented, no WoD drop.
40/75 on Alexandrite/Materia melding for Novus.
~1500/1700 Allied Seals on the Serpent Elite's Spear

Taking advantage of the Melding game while it's still popular. Found some decent hunting spots that also aid in gathering Alexandrite. I'm terrible at getting my daily quests done during the harder work-days so this is how I make up for it.

Eric and Hyrist were untouched aside from RPS. GF was over for the majority of the week so time was spent with her.

I did exactly one run of WoD and got my DRG boots and a five star card. Then, my chocobo hit level 8. I also put a pink tree and an umbrella in my yard. Finally, I started leveling Alchemist. I don't really have a use for Alchemist (neither do the devs, apparently) but it's the only craft I haven't leveled.
