I tried searching here and there but everyone quit at different times and the information given is kind of specific every time. I quit a few months before 2.0 even hit, iirc me and my LS were just starting on Ifrit (never found the h2h ifrit weapon). I just resubbed and I am completetly lost. I understand they added iLvl on equip, and my 50 pug has an awful 45ilvl. In order to get used to the game again I'm leveling some lower level classes, I'd like to play my PUG a little too though, but I'm afraid of messing stuff up if I try joining dungeons and the likes. What do you suggest I do?
Also, to level new jobs, should I still do leve quests and each of the guildheist once ( I noticed they give **** xp after the first time), or is there some faster way?
edit: I forgot, I apparently had acquired my chocobo companion (I even gave it a name, even though I do not remember at all), I purchased the grass thingy to summon it, but when I try to it says I don't actually own a chocobo? I tried going to the npc that starts the quest and he doesn't say anything, so I'm not sure what I must do in order to summon it.

I don't know how the chocobo acquisition works with Legacy characters, but what you can do with your PUG (or Monk, that is, which you should unlock if you haven't already) is to queue for a low level dungeon and build your way up from there. The lowest level dungeon is lvl15 so you'll only have to deal with a few skills, which I'm sure you can handle. The level sync lowers your PUG(MNK) from 50 to 15 for you. Your gear gets synced too so you don't need to buy lvl15 gear.
To level new jobs you should indeed do the now class-specific guildhests as well as the hunting log that asks you to kill specific mobs around the world for some bonus exp. If you come across some FATEs be sure to partake in them as well, it's also a nice exp boost which you can use to grind as well. Grinding dungeons is another option alongside FATEs, and you should at least do the daily Low level Roulette dungeon for a good exp boost. Be sure to unlock the challenge log in Limsa Lominsa too, it gives you even more exp for finishing specific objectives like clear 3 dungeons and 3 guildhests. Levequests are nice but you only get like 6 allowances a day so you can't spam them forever.

I cam back maybe a month ago now. I stopped playing my 47WHM all together. Became a Ninja. Only lv32 atm (been busy last few nights to really play).

Then summoning you use the G.Green outside. There is a companion option/button in one of the ability menus, it allows you to set the chocobo's play style (and apperance if you have any cosmetic items for it).

Note that you'll want to take advantage of the Main Scenario Quest storyline whenever possible, even if that does mean a long queue for a dungeon. Some dungeons are optional while leveling, but are required to unlock the "roulettes" at 50. So do each dungeon at least once.
iLvl 45 isn't horrible. You can run the entire Main Scenario on that and a lot of the dungeons too. I mean, sure, upgrade as soon as you can, but it's not terrible.
Start by unlocking MNK and doing the entire job quest line: that will give you MNK AF gear which is plenty good enough to get to the point where you can start the end game upgrade path. If you add the crafted i70 weapon to your AF, you should be fine for a while there.
