I plan to pre-order the downloadable collectors edition of the xpack soon(ish). Today I revived an email informing me that the physical copies are "going fast!"
Anyhoots... via the link it informs that if you bought FFXIV:ARR via Steam, do not purchases the DL version from SE.

I have no flip'en idea where I bought the download CE FFXIV version from. Logged into steam, I don't see it in my library. So now this has me wondering... is there a way for me to check via game launcher/settings on where the DL version of my game came from?
Maybe lack of sleep has be worrying too much, but now I must know!
I've tried searching my email too for the "receipt" but no go with that.

If you DL it from SE, you get an email with a code or something else of sorts. If you cleaned out your email since then.. you maybe out of luck.

If it isn't in your Steam library, then you didn't buy it from Steam.

The only original purchase sources you need to worry about are Steam and PSN. Otherwise go nuts.

This is what has me worried. I did a deeper dig in my email. I can see when I got my early access code, and when the 1st time SE charged me for my monthly...so I'm going to take a swing and say I bought it from SE (it was between SE, Gamestop and Steam).
