A weird drunk ideaFollow

The villain, You que for being a random dungeon annoyance that fights the party with a random group of mobs. High chance of being killed but bonus tomes or something for wiping the opposing party. dps, hard to kill tank, or a healer that heals the opposition. Would add a novelty to those runs you do everyday. Final boss after final boss, fight the party that last completed the duty. Would be complex to work out...... I'm not that smart, but I get ideas.

A few games do this already in some form or another. It's quite fun. XI does this as well to some extent with Monstrosity but I haven't tried it.

Yep, exactly like Monstrosity from XI where you can fight against an alliance of players as your customized monster. While it isn't tiered like your idea, essentially your capped out monster would be customized to the point it may look like a Wamoura, but you fight like a mix of a behemoth, mandragora etc etc so the alliance doesn't know what to expect.

(Another reason I say XI still managed to do more than XIV.)

So actually, it'd be very easy for them to do..the question is..would they do something against the ARR norm? Monstrosity is fun as hell.

I dont know. Like you say, an annoyance.

It's going to quickly devolve into a place where people who cant be enough of a jerk outside of the dungeons to pester more people inside them.

I would 100% support your idea if it was a random NPC that would appear in 5% of the battles for a little extra reward. A bit of a random element to the dungeons. Actual players, no. People are generally too much of a douchebag for this too work. Check out Dark souls for the ledge pushers and the back stabbers when people are weakened. Please no.
