Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks, and also a time to enjoy a few days off, eat a food, and play a game or two. What do you hope to accomplish by Thanksgiving?
My Goals:
1. Keep data gathering on retainers. Its a shame, I'm hearing great things from quick venture returns right now, but the luck has been consistently in the 4-10k gil range for my returns on the filed ventures XIX. I'll keep the train rolling until it dies. All I'm going to say right now is that if you need dissolvants, put a lvl 60 battle retainer into XIX. Callinon gave me some info that I will be incorporating. N=34 on battle jobs at the moment, most of the gathering has N=10. Would like to wait one more week so I have accurate numbers. Hoping I hit some rare minions or something. The steel mainspring from miner being my only item of notable rarity so far is sort of bumming me out.
2. Still 200 out from capping eso for the week. Next week I think I'm going to switch it up a bit. Being sick and tired of being ilvl 190 dps when there are so many good 210's out there, I'm going to swap over and upgrade the dragoon a bit. I fight well with it, my rotation is solid, I should do it. So, here is my game-plan...
A. Weekly Token from Void Ark to upgrade 200 - 210 - Goes to Warrior next three weeks (boots, gloves, helmet). Then dragoon.
B. Void Ark armor - Weekly drop goes to caster (still need hat, pants, gloves). Then Bard/MCN.
C. Weekly eso - Dragoon stuff from now on, all the way through right side. Will probably cross-use those on warrior anyway.
D. Keep praying for 210 stuff to drop from diadem to make my job of simultaneously leveling War, PLD, SMN, Bard, Drg, MCN easier.
3. Level MCN if I have time.
4. I guess I'll Solo queue diadem, try to jump into some other FC's hm run. Honestly, having an FC that even has the capability to unlock the HM loot train, much less unlocking the 210 loot train, then the FC collectively deciding not to enter said content due to a billion different reasons (playing fallout, not enough notice, gear is too random, like hunts better) drives me up the wall crazy. I seem to be comfortable in a zone swimming between people who are casual/hunting/playing Fallout and hardcore people who quit because the content got too soft. And no one else exists in that zone. Grrrrrrrrrr.
