Deep thoughts, By SumiFollow

Because I can't post on the 'offical' EQOA boards I'll just say it here. While I too am all for some new and fun things to happen in EQOA there is a limit to what they can add/change right now. In dact I was very impressed that they used memory card space to 'patch' the game like any PC MMORPG does. When the hard drive comes out they will have more space to patch in things like the graphics for a raided city and anything else that has to be handled on the client side. Another thing people are almost screaming for is PvP. While I would like to believe most of the people are mature enough to handle this kind of thing more than likely all it is going to add is more drama and grief as people will take it to a personal level. Sometimes I wonder if people remember that those other players you interact with are REAL people. If you want to grief someone do it to the mobs, not to other people who are paying money to play a GAME. And for those of you who end up in a group with a newer player why not give them some pointers instead of just bashing and flaming them. I myself was a newbie not but a scant month ago and now I'm able to help other players with knowledge and do try to help whenever where ever possible, but I must admit that griefers/trainers have made me a little bit bitter so I'm not as likely to take time out to help. And why reduce the game to a grind fest. In a fun group who doesn't silently grind away it can be a fun way to spend a few/a lot of hours and make progress. In groups where no one talks I can't stay for more than an hour or so. OK I could go on and on with this rambling random thoughts all running together in no order. Just had to get a few things off my chest. Anyone disagree agree with anything I have said and if so why? I just want to know what's on people's minds. Oh and I may have misspelled my characters name :).

yeah. i know what you're saying. PvP would definately be a disaster unless it is set up to be authorized by both participants. Like a duel. Even then there would still be problems. A lot of people would definately take it to personal. And higher levels....help lower levels. You didnt pay thirty bucks to be told you were a waste of time, no one else did either. we all lose our patients at some point. Believe me I know. But it is just a game. You push a button and the whole thing is gone. So Chill, do unto others... that whole bit.

Can you imagine all the unwanted PvP invites? And umm no offense to anyone..but why would a little enchanter like myself want this? So I can die everytime? They know we almost have no hp..lol Who am I going to challenge? A level 10? And what does this really solve? I dont think anyone is Uber...I think people have different stats that benefit their characters more...why would I have tons of strength when I dont need to hit anything?
