Anyone playing it? It looks pretty cool, but I'm guessing it's beyond my comp at the moment. Edit: Ooh, my graphics card is on the minimum required list and everything else meets the Recommended list.

I have considered at least trying it out, but at this time I have too many other games on my plate. So far I've heard good things about it.... BUT I haven't heard much yet.

I've only played for a few hours, but I can't see playing long term. The entire game just seems to be unnecessarily convoluted. There's so much random **** going on on-screen at any given time, I couldn't even tell what half of it was. If everything falls into place at some point it seems like it could be a lot of fun, but who knows.

Looks pretty spiffy. Is there a monthly subscription, or do you only need to buy the base game to play?

Sweet, I've been looking for a new MMO to play, and this one looks purdy.

31GB download though!

I like how everything just sort of clips through everything else.

BDO is on Steam now and I started playing it a week or so ago. Super friggin' grindy in some ways and super easy in others. Combat is nearly a joke until ~45 when all of a sudden stuff gets tougher and xp slows to a trickle after 50. Different tradeskills but much of it is done via hired workers or AFK autoplaying. It's a nice Pretty Girl Generator, I suppose. There's like a billion convoluted things to do besides combat but the combat itself is flashy and fun (if, again, trivially easy through much of the game).

Anyway, seems easy enough to get $10 worth of play time out of it even if you only play until you hit a wall and move on.

See, now that's the kind of endorsement that sells me games. Smiley: laugh

That's how I felt when I started, then gradually got the hang of it. I quit for awhile because of the insane RNG aspect, but I'm playing again.

Regarding the combat, it's the best combat of any MMO I've played, ever. And it's probably going to be a long time before another game tops it. I just wish everything else in the game weren't such a nightmare.

I totally zeroed in on that as well and had to go look up screenshots.

I'd seen game images before, but I had to comment on it. Smiley: laugh

If you get something from me in your PMs today, it's NSFW. I think I remember someone making some lewds for this one. And I may have bookmarked them.

Edit: That's where I'd seen it. It was a Lewdgamer article.

Nice. Not only did I get to enjoy that I found out there is a Nekopara volume 3! Things are looking up.

Due to the steam sale, you can pick this up for $8, if the $10 price tag was just above the range you wanted to spend. Smiley: tongue
