Hi, been on besaid since december and been looking at zam since then too but only now decided to join the forums.
Hoping to make some friends and get a group to play with seeing as so far no one really likes to talk where ever i am in-game, they're to focused on mining,etc.
Btw where do i get those sweet character sigs?

Hi, nice to see another one in Besaid, Vagrants Requiem is a LS more concerned about creating a comunity of people that help each other than just leveling up or taking part of end game at the moemnt so if you're looking to have people to chat with it might be of your liking. You can find more informatioon on the LSs' post or on the general List on this forum.
In regards to then sigs you can get yours here.

Hello Besaid!
As you can tell from my Sig, I'm a complete newbie to this server, Siddeon Tergaru came into existence only two days ago.
I played on the Bodhum server as a Lalafell before Christmas, but my old PC wasn't really any good for playing this game back then, so I eventually dropped out due to frustration and schoolwork, I don't feel like playing there anymore.
So only recently did I manage to get a nice new desktop which can run the game like a charm, I figured I may as well start again!
I'm a UK resident, therefore a GMT player, 19 years old, and male. While I am mildly interested in RP, I would rather get into a casual LS as soon as possible (I am checking the LS list, by the way), and take part in RP once I feel ready. I also have the full version of FRAPS, so I'm hoping to make some nice vids later on, I also like to use Vent or TS.
I hope to see some of you in-game!

Long long time ZAM lurker, just started my char afew days ago and joined my misses on Besaid server!
Umm.. Played FFXI for about 4 years(75 PLD, RDM, BLM, WAR, SAM, NIN, 100 Bone&Leather Crafts), did pretty much everything that could be done in the game end-game wise(Sky/Sea/HNM/Ein/Salvage). Really enjoyed it but quit awhile ago.
I'm from UK, but live in France currently with my misses(another FFXIV player!). Currently just relaxing leveling crafts/jobs, looking forward to all the patches that are going to be released. Hope to see you all ingame! :)

I think there is more of a correlation between folk who pot on here, and them joining Vagrants^^

Although Besaid is the most active server forum, the more the merrier.
PS: While updating the LS list thread it appears that BASF has little to no movement latelly, can you please confirm whether you guys still ingame?

Our website's been fairly slow the last couple months, but as far as I know, the shell is still around. I've been waiting for the PS3 version to play, but I know it's on hold. If they cancel it, I'll have to upgrade my video card before I can play on PC.
I'll try to get Gadhelyn to come in and confirm there's still people from BASF in-game.

Hey all,
This thread's been quiet for a while it seems, but it seemed like an appropriate place to introduce myself to the FFXIV community. My in game name is Taan Amaroq, a fresh and bewildered player on Besaid. I currently play FFXI too, though I've never been anywhere near the endgame!
I'm hoping to get straight in at the social end of the game in hopes that that will make the learning curve somewhat less extreme. I'd love to hear from anyone in game and if you're a linkshell holder with a place for me, I'd be grateful of that too!

Hi everyone, my name is Cynde and I kinda sorta just started playing FFXIV. (Picked the Besaid server cause I love FFX). Anyways like I said I kinda just started. I made my character a long time ago, but stopped cause I couldn't get interested in the game, but I am trying to make an effort cause I loved FFXI. My character's name is Cynde Free and I'm a level 10 conjurer and nothing else (hahaha...) I'm going to try being a healer, but right now I'm just kinda lost in the world. Haven't really talked to anyone or joined anything, but I am really hoping that changes today cause I think this game would be a lot more fun if there were friends on there that I could talk too : ) So hope to see you all around!

If you are looking to be a healer then the concensus is that Thaumaturge class would be the most appropriate to do but with the introduction of the jobs this summer this could easily change.
At rank at you probbaly would do best to join behests in Black Ruch, Bentbranch or Bearded Rock along with r10 guildleves, once you get to r13-15 you can also look into joining behests in r20 camps along with these leves.

Hello! Just started back on FFXIV, I played for a month or so after launch but my laptop couldn't handle the game very well where I was at the time so I took a break. I used to play FFXI since it released with sporadic breaks during the years. Thankfully now that I'm at a place with better wireless my laptop can handle the game (with plenty of lag though =/) But I'm willing to tough out the lag and lowered graphics to play until I work up enough money for a desktop. I just made a character on Besaid after not liking my old server as much. My in game name is Hachi Shibuya.
Looking forward to meeting new people, I'm on quite a lot so look me up =)
